Bruce E. Balding
Bruce E. Balding is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. Mr. Balding joined Tocqueville in 2005 and manages discretionary portfolios for individuals and family clients, as well as retirement plans and trusts.
Prior to joining Tocqueville, he managed investment portfolios at Carret and Company from 1998 to 2004. From 1983 to 1997, he was President of Balding & Co., which he founded and then sold to Carret & Co. Mr. Balding held prior positions as President of Hamilton Gregg Capital Corp., President of Van Cleef, Jordan & Wood, and Investment Counselors.
He earned his B.A. from Harvard University, followed by an M.A. at Harvard University.
