  • Meet My Team

James R. Keller, Philip Treick, Robert Mullin

Philip, Robert, and James established a Tocqueville satellite office in San Francisco in the spring of 2016.  The team joined the firm in May 2016, bringing with them a unique dual-focused resource and income Real Asset Equity strategy.

The strategy was borne out of a desire to provide clients with inflation protection and income.  In doing so it maintains exposure to unconventional and unique equities and debt instruments within the broader “resource” sector – instruments that can pay uncommonly high income through dividends, distributions, or interest. Over time the investment process has been honed to focus on durable companies that exhibit sustainable cash flows and income within volatile resource sectors.  Our emphasis on value and contrarian opportunities is very much in keeping with Tocqueville’s core beliefs.
