  • Robert W. Kleinschmidt

    Robert W. Kleinschmidt is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. and Chairman of its General Partner, Tocqueville Management Corp.

    Mr. Kleinschmidt joined Tocqueville in 1991 and manages discretionary portfolios for institutional, individual and family clients.  He is the Portfolio Manager of the firm’s flagship fund, the Tocqueville Fund, and the lead manager of the Multi Cap Equity strategy.  In addition, Mr. Kleinschmidt is the Chairman of the Investment Committee.

    Prior to joining Tocqueville, Mr. Kleinschmidt spent thirteen years with David J. Greene & Company.  Prior to joining David J. Greene & Company, he spent two years at the Irving Trust Company, starting his career there in 1976.  Before going to Wall Street, he taught Economics at Fordham and Adelphi Universities, and Marymount College.

    Mr. Kleinschmidt earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin (Oshkosh) and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). From 1973 to 1976, he continued postgraduate work in Economics at Columbia University.  He also holds the CFA designation.

  • Vincent Sellecchia

    Vincent Sellecchia is the Vice Chairman of Tocqueville Management Corporation, the general partner of Tocqueville Asset Management L.P.

    Mr. Sellecchia, joined Tocqueville in 2009 and was a Senior Portfolio Manager, managing discretionary and advisory portfolios for individual and institutional accounts, as well as a co-lead manager of the Delafield Fund and the Tocqueville Select Fund.

    Prior to joining Tocqueville in 2009, Mr. Sellecchia was the Chief Operating Officer of Delafield Asset Management Inc. The Delafield team joined Reich & Tang Asset Management, LLC in 1991 and later became a division of the firm in 1997, where Mr. Sellecchia became a Managing Director. He joined Delafield Asset Management Inc. in 1980, the year it was founded, and was with the research team at Gabelli & Co. prior to that. Mr. Sellecchia started his investment career as an investment analyst at Irving Trust & Co. in 1976.

    Mr. Sellecchia earned a B.A. from Boston College and an M.B.A. from New York University.

  • Scott Schlesinger

    Scott Schlesinger is President and Chief Operating Officer of Tocqueville Asset Management, LP.

    Mr. Schlesinger joined Tocqueville in 1992 as Head of Trading, responsible for the oversight of all trading operations for Tocqueville and its affiliated broker-dealer Tocqueville Securities, LP.  Throughout his tenure at Tocqueville, Mr. Schlesinger chaired several of its operating and governance committees including the Valuation Committee, Best Execution Committee and Liquidity Risk Management Committee.  Prior to joining Tocqueville, he held positions on the Trading Desk at David J. Greene & Co and Wall Street Clearing Corp.

    Mr. Schlesinger earned a B.S. from Rutgers University

  • Kelsey Graham

    Kelsey D. Graham is the Chief Compliance Officer at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P.

    Mr. Graham joined Tocqueville in 2011 and also serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Tocqueville’s affiliated broker-dealer Tocqueville Securities L.P.

    Prior to joining Tocqueville, Mr. Graham was a Partner and Trial Attorney at Rivkin Radler LLP.  Mr. Graham began his career as an Associate at Bower and Gardner, a boutique medical malpractice defense firm, then subsequently served as a litigator at Parker Chapin Flattau and Klimpl.

    Mr. Graham earned a B.A. in History from Hartwick College and received his J.D. from University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.
