Joseph Zock


Joseph A. Zock is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. Mr. Zock joined Tocqueville in 2006 and is a member of the U.S., International, and Global Multi Cap Equity Investment Committees. He manages discretionary institutional portfolios and as well as family office and individual portfolios for high-net-worth individuals. Additionally, Mr. Zock sits on the Alternative Investments Committee at Tocqueville and serves as a Portfolio Manager for Tocqueville Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds. Separately, Mr. Zock sits on the Board of CapZone Impact Investments LLC, a qualified opportunity zone business and serves as the Chairman of the Veterans Villa Operating, LLC, which is focused on military adjacent housing. 

Prior to joining Tocqueville Mr. Zock spent 24 years with Capital Management Associates where he served as President, Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager of the firm. From 1988 until 1994 Mr. Zock served as the General Partner of Shields Texas Recovery Fund, Ltd. a real estate fund focused on distressed properties in Houston. 

Mr. Zock holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of New Hampshire, a J.D. from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a CIS from the University of London, Kings College School of Law.
