George McAuliffe

George B. McAuliffe III, is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. Mr. McAuliffe joined Tocqueville in 1998 and manages discretionary portfolios for individual and family clients, as well as for trusts, estates, endowments and institutional clients. He also until recently managed the firm’s Intern Program.

Prior to joining Tocqueville, Mr. McAuliffe was an Analyst at The Bank of New York from 1996 to 1998. He is also the author of Wealth & Wisdom: Timeless Quotations and Comments About Money and Investing.

Mr. McAuliffe earned an M.B.A. from the London Business School and a B.A. in History from Columbia University.  He also holds the CFA designation, and is a fluent French speaker.
